Welcome to Sauls Collective. These Terms of Service govern your use of saulscollective.com and purchases made through the website.
By accessing this website or purchasing artwork from Sauls Collective, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.
About Sauls Collective
Sauls Collective is a Cary, North Carolina-based fine art studio featuring original artwork by Dean Sauls and Tricia Sauls.
The website offers original artwork for collectors, homeowners, interior designers, trade professionals, hospitality projects, offices, and other spaces.
Questions may be directed to:
Original Artwork
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, artwork sold as original artwork through Sauls Collective is an original work by the artist identified in the listing.
Because original artwork is created individually, variations in texture, surface, brushwork, edges, materials, and other characteristics are part of the artwork and are not considered defects.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe each work, including its dimensions, materials, colors, presentation, and condition.
Colors displayed on a computer, phone, or other screen may vary from the colors of the physical artwork because of differences in displays, lighting, photography, and viewing conditions.
Availability
Original artwork is generally one of a kind.
Placing an item in a shopping cart does not reserve the artwork. An artwork remains available for purchase until the checkout transaction has been successfully completed.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep availability current, an artwork may occasionally become unavailable because of an in-person sale, exhibition, inventory error, or another circumstance.
If an artwork becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the purchaser and issue an appropriate refund.
Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Sauls Collective may change prices at any time before a purchase is completed.
The price charged for an artwork will be the price displayed at checkout at the time the order is placed, together with any applicable taxes, shipping, delivery, or other charges disclosed during checkout.
Payments are processed securely through the payment services enabled through our Squarespace website. Sauls Collective does not directly store complete credit or debit card numbers.
Taxes
Applicable sales tax may be calculated and collected as required by law based on the order and delivery location.
Customers are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other charges for which they are legally responsible and which are not collected during checkout.
Order Confirmation
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order.
We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order because of incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, payment problems, inventory errors, an artwork becoming unavailable, or another legitimate business reason.
If payment has already been collected for an order we cannot fulfill, the applicable amount will be refunded.
Shipping
Shipping availability, methods, and charges may vary depending on the size, weight, medium, presentation, and destination of an artwork.
Product pages or checkout information may provide artwork-specific shipping details.
Sauls Collective ships artwork within the United States where shipping is offered.
Estimated processing or delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Delivery may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, freight schedules, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Local Pickup and Delivery
Local pickup may be available in Cary, North Carolina by appointment.
Local delivery may be available for certain artwork within Cary, Raleigh, Durham, and surrounding areas of the Triangle when indicated on the website or arranged directly with Sauls Collective.
Pickup and delivery times must be arranged in advance.
Specific delivery availability may depend on the artwork's size, destination, and scheduling.
Returns and Refunds

The artwork must be returned in its original, unaltered, and undamaged condition.
Returns must be authorized before being shipped.
Once approved, the artwork must be shipped within 7 calendar days.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping, tracking, and insurance covering the full value of the artwork.
Original shipping and delivery charges are nonrefundable.
Commissioned, custom, and personalized artwork is final sale unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
Additional conditions, including procedures for damaged artwork and cancellations, are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Damaged Shipments
If artwork arrives damaged, contact Sauls Collective as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
Please retain the artwork, shipping container, and all packing materials and provide photographs of the artwork, packaging, and visible shipping damage when requested.
Do not discard packaging or return damaged artwork until we provide instructions, as these materials may be required for a carrier or insurance claim.
Commissions and Custom Artwork
Commissioned artwork may be offered depending on the artist's availability and the nature of the project.
Details relating to a commission—including scope, dimensions, price, deposit, payment schedule, timeline, revisions, delivery, and cancellation terms—may be governed by a separate written proposal, invoice, agreement, or correspondence.
If separate written commission terms conflict with these general Terms of Service, the specific written terms agreed to for the commission will control with respect to that commission.
Commissioned and custom artwork is final sale unless otherwise agreed in writing.
