ABOUT SAULS COLLECTIVE
Two Artists. Distinct Practices.
Sauls Collective brings together the original paintings of Dean and Tricia Sauls, two independent artists based in Cary, North Carolina. Dean creates contemporary abstract paintings, while Tricia focuses on original still-life paintings. Each maintains a distinct artistic identity, united through a shared commitment to making and living with art.
We welcome inquiries from private collectors, art advisors, interior designers, architects, and professionals sourcing original artwork for residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. Whether you're considering a particular painting or exploring artwork for a project, you'll work directly with the artists.
Art has always been part of our daily lives. We share a home, a love of making things, and an appreciation for how original artwork becomes part of the spaces people inhabit. Sauls Collective grew naturally from that shared creative life.
A Shared Creative Life
Our approaches to painting could hardly be more different. Dean works intuitively, building abstract compositions through mark-making, layered color, and revision. Tricia finds inspiration in familiar subjects, creating still-life paintings that explore color, composition, and the character of everyday objects.
Those differences are central to Sauls Collective. The work belongs to two individual artists, each with a personal vision and a body of work that stands on its own.
